A tiny △ appears in the corner of the board when the next player has a move available that coaching would intercept. Only the parent can see it — it lets you decide whether to offer a hint yourself, so the coaching comes from you, not the screen.
The small grid below the settings gear shows which pieces have good moves. × = the best move is here and easy to spot. Dot = a good move. Small dot = a reasonable move. Tap a piece to see where its moves go.
